Barb Butler
Chief Executive Officer
Barb joined the hospital in 1989 and became chief executive officer in 1998. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy and a bachelor’s degree in health occupations education. She obtained a master’s degree in public administration from Indiana University. Barb serves on the board of directors for Evansville ARC, ANEW and March of Dimes. She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Tri-State Business Group on Health, and the Indiana Hospital Association Rehab Task Force. She has been nominated twice for the ATHENA Award.

Ashok Dhingra, MD
Medical Director
Ashok Dhingra, M.D., is the executive medical director and director of the brain injury program. He is an experienced physiatrist and specializes in the medical and rehabilitative management of brain injury and spinal cord injury. He earned his medical degree from the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India, and completed his residency at the University of Missouri. He has been a member of the HealthSouth team since 1997.

Brett Hirt, PT, ATC
Director of Therapy Operations
Brett has been employed with HealthSouth since 1996. A native of Tennessee, he graduated from the University of Evansville with a bachelor's degree in science and a master's degree in physical therapy. Brett is actively involved in the local American Physical Therapy Association, the Community PT Advisory Group for the University of Evansville, and is a member of Cross Roads Christian Church where he has been involved with mission work.

Tina Densley
Director of Marketing Operations
Tina has been employed at HealthSouth since 2001. She is a graduate of IVY Tech with an associate’s degree in nursing and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health services at the University of Southern Indiana. Tina is involved with many community organizations and serves on the board of directors for the Arthritis Foundation. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association, Advertising Club of Evansville, Gerontology Network, Case Manager Network and Habitat for Humanity.

Diane Riley
Controller
Diane has been employed at HealthSouth since 1999. She has 16 years of experience in health care finance. She is a native of New York and a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Diane teaches Junior Achievement classes in the Henderson County elementary schools.

Doron Finn, MD
Dr. Finn is the medical director of the wound care program. He attended Medical School University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa and graduated from University of Oklahoma in Tulsa in 1983. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He moved to Evansville in 2003 and currently practices at Evansville Surgical Associates. He is on staff at Deaconess and St. Mary’s hospitals.

Emilian Armeanu, MD
Dr. Armeanu is the medical director of the infectious disease program. He graduated from “Carol Davila” University of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania in 1992. Dr. Armeanu moved to the United States in 1999. He was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2002 and the American Board of Infectious Diseases in 2005. He moved to Evansville in 2007 where he current has a private practice and is on staff at Deaconess, Select and St. Mary’s hospitals.

Linda Doerflein
Director of Quality, Risk and Education
Linda has been employed by HealthSouth since March of 2008 as the director of quality, risk and education. She graduated from Regents School of Nursing and Oakland City University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is certified as a professional health care risk manager with the American Hospital Association.  Linda is a board member of the Posey County Community Foundation and a member of ANEW.

Barbara Rutkowski
Director of Case Management
Barbara joined HealthSouth in January of 2009 as a nurse and was promoted to director of case management.  She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Florida, a doctorate from Indiana University, and has also achieved national certification as a case manager. Her background includes extensive experience in developing and administering medical management for health plans and work as a consultant in employee health and case management programs for health systems. She has authored five books, two of which received the American Journal of Nursing “Book of the Year” award, and numerous professional articles, and works collaboratively with her attorney husband, Arthur, to write the monthly national newsletter, Employment Law Update.

Greg Ennis, MD
Admitting Physician
Gregory Ennis, M.D. is program director for the Outpatient Amputee Clinic.  Dr. Ennis brings more than ten years of experience as a physiatrist to the HealthSouth physician team. Prior to joining the HealthSouth team, Dr. Ennis held medical directorships at Maine Medical Center in Portland; Bartlett Memorial Hospital in Juneau, Alaska; and Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Ga. He earned his medical degree from the University of Seville Faculty of Medicine in Spain, and completed an internship in internal medicine at Brooklyn/Caledonian Hospital. He also completed a residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in internal medicine and in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Mohammed Adeel, MD
Dr. Adeel is a fellowship trained rehabilitation physician. He brings with him 10 years of experience in his field. Most recently he practiced at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York where he was a clinical instructor in the rehabilitation medicine residency program. He graduated from Kakatiya Medical College in Warrangal, AP, India in 1992.

Blake Bunner
Director of Human Resources
Blake Bunner joined HealthSouth Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital as the Director of Human Resources in December of 2009. Blake received his bachelor’s degree in geography from Western Kentucky University. His background includes extensive experience in supervision and management of staff and development. Blake has been an active member of the Spencer County community as a Councilman and a member and President for the Spencer County Council on Aging.

Trish Draeger
Chief Nursing Officer
Trish has been employed at HealthSouth since 2001. She has 30 years of acute care nursing experience. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with an associate’s degree in nursing and from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in the same field. She is a member of the Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives.
