Ronnie Mercer

Ronnie Mercer was critically injured in a motorcycle accident on April 29, 2012. When he arrived at HealthSouth Deaconess, he was not able to walk more than a few feet, was dependent on others for bathing and dressing, and could not speak clearly or swallow.

Bronwyn Pfingston

At age 22, Bronwyn was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma brain tumor when she was seven months pregnant. After her surgeries, she was admitted to HealthSouth Deaconess for rehab.

Jean Dollison

It was a typical day for 42-year-old Jean Dollison. Running an outside errand for work, she was driving down the Lloyd Expressway when a driver crossed the median and caused a head on collision with Jean and four other vehicles.
